First of all the Thai people love children, there is always a pair of helping hands to hold and carry when needed. The only thing is they might appear a little too affectionate like one time I was inside a store and my husband was waiting outside with our wall sticker, at the time 2,5 year old. I asked my husband to look at something I was trying on and immediately a woman in the store offered to hold our daughter. I swear he just stuck his head in the store for two seconds and when he looked out Esther was gone! Imagine the panic! Two seconds later, I’m sure it felt longer wall sticker, he looked over to the other side and there was the woman showing Esther off to all her friends in the neighboring store.
